Billing And Subscriptions

Billing and Subscriptions

1. Subscriptions and Billing

Nstproxy offers monthly subscriptions for Crawl and Proxy Manager, while also supporting Pay Per Use billing.

Visit Dashboard → Subscribe or the Subscribe page on the official website to view plan pricing, Included Credits, and resource limits.

Billing Overview

Nstproxy uses two balance types:

Balance typeHow to obtain itSupported servicesExpiration
Included CreditsPurchase a subscription planCrawl and Proxy Manager usage, plus Pay Per Use proxy usageExpires at the end of the current monthly billing cycle
Recharge CreditsAdd funds to a personal account or workspace walletCrawl, Proxy Manager, Pay Per Use proxy usage, proxy Packages, and ISP proxy purchasesDoes not expire while the account remains active

For eligible Crawl, Proxy Manager, and Pay Per Use proxy usage, the system consumes Included Credits first and then uses Recharge Credits when the Included Credits balance is insufficient. Proxy traffic purchased as a Package and ISP proxies can only be purchased with Recharge Credits.

Nstproxy billing models

Per-IP purchase: Available for ISP proxies and charged by proxy quantity. These purchases can only use Recharge Credits.
CrawlPay Per Use: Charged according to actual usage. Included Credits are consumed first, followed by Recharge Credits.
Proxy ManagerPay Per Use: Charged according to actual usage. Included Credits are consumed first, followed by Recharge Credits.

Subscription Plans

Every new account starts on the Free plan. You can add Recharge Credits and use supported Pay Per Use services without purchasing a subscription.

The paid plans are Starter, Growth, and Scale, all billed monthly. Plans provide:

  • Included Credits that can be used for eligible service usage.
  • Different Crawl concurrency limits and usage rates.
  • Different Proxy Manager traffic rates and resource limits.
  • Lower Pay Per Use proxy prices, including Residential Prime, IPv6, Datacenter, and Mobile.

Before subscribing, compare the current monthly price, Included Credits, service rates, concurrency limits, and resource limits on the Subscribe page.

Free plan

The Free plan has no monthly fee and includes no Included Credits. You can still add Recharge Credits and use supported services on a Pay Per Use basis.

Paid plans

Starter, Growth, and Scale are monthly subscriptions. After payment succeeds, the subscription amount becomes Included Credits available to the current billing entity during that billing cycle. Included Credits are not cash wallet funds, cannot be withdrawn, and do not roll over to the next cycle.

How Charges Are Calculated

3.1 Crawl

A Crawl task may contain one or more of the following charge items:

Charge itemMeasurement
Base scrape usageCharged according to the number of processed URLs and the URL rate for the current plan
Nstproxy Crawl proxy trafficTraffic generated when a Crawl task uses a proxy

The per-URL price shown for a plan—for example, the price per 1,000 URLs—represents only the base scrape rate. A task may also incur proxy traffic charges depending on its configuration. The task completion page and Billing history show the final charge breakdown.

Crawl tasks that use Nstproxy proxies consume available Included Credits first. After Included Credits are exhausted, remaining eligible Crawl charges are deducted from Recharge Credits.

3.2 Proxy Manager

Proxy Manager charges according to the type of traffic it processes:

Traffic typeDescription
Base TrafficStandard traffic forwarded through a Router and Proxy Pool
Fingerprint TrafficTraffic that matches and uses a TLS Fingerprint Pool or fingerprint routing rule

The plan determines the applicable Base Traffic and Fingerprint Traffic rates, as well as the resource limits for Routers, Proxy Pools, monitoring rules, and Fingerprint Pools. Eligible Proxy Manager usage consumes Included Credits first and Recharge Credits afterward.

3.3 Proxy Products

Pay Per Use

Proxy usage is charged according to the actual traffic consumed by each proxy Channel. Available proxy types and current rates are shown on the proxy Channel page in Dashboard.

Pre-purchased Package

Purchase a specified amount of traffic or resources in advance. The purchase cost is deducted from the account balance, and actual usage is deducted from the purchased allowance.

Subscription plan rate notes

The Subscribe page shows standard plan rates for comparison between plans.

Actual usage rates are determined by proxy Channel pricing and billing records.

If a custom rate is configured, the system applies the corresponding price automatically and does not add another subscription discount on top of the custom rate.

Included Credits

Included Credits can be used for Crawl, Proxy Manager, and Pay Per Use proxy usage:

  • Issued after a paid subscription is purchased or renewed successfully.
  • Follow a monthly billing cycle and are valid for up to 30 days.
  • Expire at the end of the billing cycle and do not roll over.
  • Are consumed before Recharge Credits for eligible usage.
  • Cannot be used to purchase proxy Packages or ISP proxy products.
  • Belong to the current personal account or workspace and cannot be transferred between workspaces.

After Included Credits are exhausted, eligible usage can continue at the current plan rate when sufficient Recharge Credits are available. The charges are then deducted from Recharge Credits.

Recharge Credits

Recharge Credits are prepaid wallet funds. Add them through Billing → Add Credits.

Recharge Credits can be used for:

  • Crawl usage after Included Credits are exhausted.
  • Proxy Manager usage after Included Credits are exhausted.
  • Pay Per Use proxy traffic.
  • Proxy Package and ISP proxy purchases.

The Dashboard header and Billing page display the wallet balance. All charges and adjustments are recorded in Credits History.

  1. Go to Dashboard → Subscribe.
  2. Compare Free, Starter, Growth, and Scale.
  3. Select a paid plan.
  4. Review the order details in Order Summary.
  5. Confirm payment.

After payment succeeds, the current billing entity's plan, Included Credits, applicable rates, and resource limits are updated immediately.

6.2 Upgrade a Subscription

When upgrading during the current monthly billing cycle:

  • The upgraded plan starts a new 30-day validity period.
  • The auto-renewal date is recalculated from the updated 30-day period.
  • Unused Included Credits from the previous subscription are carried over to the new subscription plan.
  • The upgraded rates and resource limits take effect for the remaining period.

6.3 Auto-Renewal

You can enable or disable auto-renewal in the Current Plan section of Billing:

  • When enabled, the current plan renews automatically on the scheduled monthly renewal date.
  • When disabled, the current plan remains available until the end of the current cycle but does not renew automatically.
  • After a successful renewal, Included Credits are issued for the new cycle. Unused Included Credits from the previous cycle expire.

Payment Methods

View the payment cards associated with the current billing entity under Billing → Payment Settings. To protect account security, only masked card information is displayed. Editing card information in Dashboard is not currently supported.

A personal account can purchase a subscription and hold Recharge Credits. When operating under a personal account, its subscription and balances apply at the personal-account level.

8.2 Upgrade to a Workspace

During the upgrade process, a personal account can enter a Team Name and create its first workspace. This upgrade cannot be reversed.

The following resources are migrated to the new workspace:

  • Active subscriptions and Included Credits.
  • Recharge Credit wallet balance.
  • Proxy resources and ISP proxies.
  • Historical order records.

Detailed account balance records and proxy Channel statistics are not migrated. Read the migration notice carefully before confirming the upgrade.

After upgrading, you can create and switch between multiple workspaces. Each workspace independently owns:

  • Its subscription and Included Credits.
  • Its Recharge Credit wallet.
  • Its Pay Per Use proxy rates and usage records.
  • Its billing history and payment settings.

Before adding funds, subscribing, or viewing a bill, confirm the workspace currently selected in the Workspace Switcher. All billing actions apply only to the current workspace.
